Dennis Olsen took part in his first race in the Formula Renault 2.0 NEC-series (Northern European Cup) at Hockenheim. The record starting line-up of 40 cars, also gathered 15 of the more experienced drivers from the Euro series, so the Norwegian racing talent faced good competition.
Dennis qualified as number six in his group and eleventh overall. In the first race, he drove into a good 11thplace. In the second final, the cars drove on a wet track with slick tyres, conditions that Dennis has little experience with, and therefore he drove in safety mode into a 16th place. In the 3rdfinal, he took another 11thplace. Overall, he is the fourth best NEC driver in the series and is looking forward to next weekend’s event at Nurburgring.
