Finnish rally talent, Esapekka Lappi, made an all-out effort to make it onto the podium in Rallye Sanremo.

He was in fourth place overall before the final stage of the legendary asphalt rally, but after winning the last special stage, he and his co-driver, Janne Ferm, managed to climb to second place. This was a strong result by the Skoda driver, who has only competed in six asphalt rallies.
