Kristoffersson had a wonderful start to the weekend as he took a maximum of 30 points from Saturday's race having won all his heats and the free practice as well. - We feel more into it now than in Höljes. The speed is better and the overall feeling as well, says Johan.

Rain put its imprint on Sunday's event, but Kristoffersson continued his run, winning Q1 in excellent style. The second qualifying became more complicated with some technical issues already from the start. The double world champion scored a P14 and he, as well as the mechanics, had some job to do. Team boss Tommy Kristoffersson was impressed with the knowledge of the mechanics - They solved the problem quickly. It feels safe to have such a good staff. Johan paid back by delivering the launch of the year. It looked too good to be true. - For sure it was really good. You do that when you have to, says Kristoffersson who secured top qualifier's position for the second time this weekend.

Kristoffersson then cruised through the semifinal thanks to another great launch and was in pole position for the final. He had another good start, but lost the lead to Niclas Grönholm. - I didn't get through the first corner as I would have hoped for. The joker strategy then seemed to take Kristoffersson and his Volkswagen Polo R Supercar to another victory, as he was right behind Grönholm and Mattias Ekström on the last lap. - But the joker lap is so short here, and I had so much mud on the windscreen so I didn't nail it. Timur Timerzyanov also passed Johan, who missed out on the podium for the first time this season. - But 55 points from 60 this weekend and I'm still expanding my lead in the championship. Volkswagen Dealerteam BAUHAUS boss Tommy Kristoffersson was not quite happy with the outcome of Sunday's race. - You cannot be totally satisfied when you are not winning, but we have what it takes to win. Next race will be in Riga, Lettland in three weeks time.
